Know your scope before you bid.

Construction estimates and trade takeoffs organized around your drawings, bid packages and deadlines.

Construction Estimating Services

Construction estimating turns bid drawings into measured quantities and a documented cost basis. Request a quantity-only takeoff when your team supplies the rates. Request a priced estimate when the bid also needs labor, material and equipment costs.

Confirm the drawing revision before pricing.

General contractors can request an estimate organized by bid package. Subcontractors can request a takeoff for one trade, building or phase. Developers can use a preliminary budget to see how an early design choice changes the scope before the drawings are complete.

From drawing set to bid review

STEP 01

Share your plans

Send the current drawings, addenda, project location, deadline and the trades you need covered.

STEP 02

Review the quote

Agree on the deliverables, turnaround and boundaries of the estimate before work begins.

STEP 03

Review your estimate

Use the organized quantities, references and assumptions to price or check the package.

What a reviewable estimate looks like

A useful estimate records the measurement unit, plan reference and revision alongside the quantity. Separating the measured amount from waste and pricing assumptions lets a contractor change one input without losing the original basis.

Frequently asked questions

Can I request a quantity-only takeoff?

Yes. Specify the trade, the takeoff units and how you want the quantities broken down. A quantity-only sheet can be priced with your own crews and suppliers.

Which version of the drawings should I send?

Send the latest issued bid or design set and every applicable addendum. If a revised sheet replaces one from an earlier set, identify it in the request.

How is the fee determined?

The quote reflects the trades, drawing completeness, required output and deadline. A single-trade count and a full construction budget are scoped separately.

What happens if a plan detail is missing?

Identify the decision in an assumption or clarification log. Where a placeholder is needed, show the basis and the potential impact so your team can review it.
